The Heat is On

Here we are, 25 hours left in June, and YES - we've just made the deadline to get our monthly posting in (not in time to avoid the blog police though). Summer's been great so far; it's been awesome getting together with family and friends for BBQs and walks.

Harvie's been back and forth to LA for work, a little smoggy at times, but the short trip from the airport to the beach has been an added bonus (the escape from the office is the tricky part...).

Jackie's packed up much of her Grade 2 classroom, a bittersweet chore, but is without a doubt looking forward to the next chapter of family life. If anything, hauling the mass amounts of books was a good workout for Harvie :) Good news is we've decided on the baby room color and slapped on a sample coat just to make sure we made the right decision. (yes, Harvie won the color battle)
Hope you're all enjoying the summer. We've made one of our best investments in a while, the AC is cranked after a few unusually hot days. We're really excited for our upcoming Okanagan camping trip, should be adventurous @ 30 weeks pregnant! See you in July...
